Eurowaterjet can help you and show you how to dispose of GARNET properly, saving you time and money by working with expertise, professionalism and timeliness.
GARNET abrasive, in fact, once its working cycle is over, must be disposed of by specialized and authorized companies because of the residue it contains after processing.
Its natural composition, as you know, presents no danger to the environment or human health.
You should know, however, that depending on the processing for which GARNET was used, it produces different waste, conditioning the procedure and cost of disposal.

First, it is necessary to analyze the waste in order to correctly identify the EWC (European Waste Catalogue): a kilogram of spent sludge is collected from the various bags in order to obtain a sample that is as representative of the waste as possible.
At this point, the sample is sent to an authorized and specialized laboratory that will perform the analysis in accordance with the relevant laws.
According to practice, the analyses are repeated upon receipt of the abrasive to be disposed of, and, in case of major discrepancies, the disposers reserve the right to reject it, with costs that will be charged to the consignor.
Therefore, this is a delicate step that must be carried out by trained personnel.
Following the analysis, we will have the exact classification of the used abrasive (CER), and we will be able to formulate an appropriate estimate for disposal, including the cost of transportation, which is also tied to the use of suitable means and possessing the necessary certifications required by law.
The spent sludge at this point will need to be dried in 1- or 2-ton Big-Bags.
After disposal in the authorized plant, the relevant certificate will be issued, in accordance with current laws.
Make the disposal together with the delivery of new abrasive, ask us how.
